Today, with so much going on in the music industry, keeping up to with technology, all the new astonishing marketable
effects that can bubble up so many things in just one element, tends to create a bit of a hastle for some soul hearted
musicians, and even make a confused scenario of doubt as to what is best to have or do.
Every musician has his/her way of understanding all the facts that surround SOUND, either from a self taught point of view,
intuition or simply on the go development of skills.
But like playing an instrument the more you understand what makes each part of the puzzle match makes things so much easier.
Therefore, as a musician, guitar player, performer and session player in a studio, working on music production, etc...
My tone became an important concern towards reaching that “one” that best fit for the case. I decided to go deeper into this
subject starting with Acoustics within my instrument structure, followed up with the difference upon the use of Digital vs Analog,
the Amplifier, and needless to say the impact of technology as it keeps moving on. You don't need a lot of money,
You need to understand effects and their impact on sound.
It all turned out to be an instructional DVD, with all my notes in a booklet included: Called THE COLOR OF SOUND FOR THE GUITAR,
for which I have done some live workshops in order to share experiences with all level musicians and specially guitar players where
the main purpose is to learn and improve.
Even though at the very end the choice is ours to make according to what we are looking for, understanding what we have at hand makes
this choice less complicated and contributes to find that special sound that makes your tone unique.
